The Information Technology Divisions has already begun a busy year of events. Most of this year's chapter conferences have already taken place and the IT Division sponsored or co-sponsored several sessions.

In June, this year's bootcamp will take place on June 13 immediately following the TechConnections 8 conference. Network Tune-Up: Top 10 Things To Do To Your Library's Network will show you the upgrades, lock downs, tweaks, and peeks that will get your network into shape. Register early as this workshop is hands-on and participation is limited to 24. If you are involved in maintaining your library's network in any way, don't miss this event!

The IT Division takes a break in July, but techies and other library staff will not want to miss the AV Division's Digital Declassified workshop. Come learn about digital media and how to support it in your library.

On August 22, TheRightClick v3.0 will be held at the State Library of Ohio. All are invited to come share their unique solutions and best practices with their colleagues. See the previous post on this blog for information on how to submit an entry.

Finally, The IT Division is slated to sponsor many programs at this year's Convention in October.
